Kim Cotta attended United Technologies Center, specializing in Automotive Diagnostics. She was the first female to compete in the Ford/AAA Skills competition and took first place for the state of Maine. Kim started working at Darling’s Ford at the age of 17 as a Service Assistant. She worked her way up to VW/Audi Service Consultant and Assistant Service Manager before taking on her current role as VW & Audi Team Service Manager at Darling’s Ford VW Audi. In 2015, Kim placed first in the USA for the VW Retail Service Championship, competed in Germany for the world title, and ended up taking first for the Western Hemisphere.
In her spare time, Kim rides her Triumph Street Triple motorcycle every chance she gets and competes in various mud races throughout the state in her Jeep Cherokee (and fixes the Jeep after she breaks it!) She is proud to do her own maintenance and tinkering on her own car, and enjoys spending time boating with her husband.
